Don’t just do something, Sit There!
The Living The American Green Institute is made up of people interested in Green Things, but not religious about them. We like the Eco-movement, but we are tired of being told how responsible we are for the terrible state of the world. We aren’t that into self-flagulation. We are very into long luxurious showers. We like to laugh, often at our own expense. We LOVE red meat. At least, some of us do.
What we hope is that this site is a forum for those casually interested in things green, but are as yet unconvinced to move off the grid and live off locally found fruit. We want to make it a discussion between ourselves and our readers about where the spin stops and where the benefits of actually living green starts.
The American Green Institute wants to place our snarky lens on everything from the newest of green science to journeys of green washing and the blatant hijacking of the environmental ethos to make an extra buck. Everything can now be viewed in relation to the green world, and we hope that you will join us as we try and keep track of all the different ways that environmentalism is becoming every day life.
